VR:

Are there any established artists with whom you would like to collaborate?

ALKHEMY:

Probably Devin Townsend or Billy Howerdell. They can grasp the concept of huge music. Most artist look at song like songs, not masterpieces.

VR:

What is your favorite local venue?

ALKHEMY:

So far, The Fenix and The Ballard Firehouse.

VR:

Where do you think this MP3 business is going?

ALKHEMY:

It is going to go to unadulterated sponsorship like NASCAR.

VR:

Do you have all your songs downloadable at mp3.com?

ALKHEMY:

No...I have them on Hi Fi or Lo Fi stream only.

VR:

Discribe your city:

ALKHEMY:

Seattle...I think everyone knows about Seattle. Clean air, mountains and kick ass coffee.

VR:

ALKHEMY:

VR:

Most people will never know what it feels like to be on stage in front of a crowd, explain to them that feeling:

ALKHEMY:

Orgasmic...in fact, better than sex.

VR:

You standing on the beach on a hot summer day. What comes to mind?

ALKHEMY:

Find the water and get in it...

VR:

What is your favorite song on the radio?

ALKHEMY:

I really don't have one.

VR:

Tell us a story about the making of a song:

ALKHEMY:

Well, with me, the whole process take about 15 minutes. It's just like as if the President was having a heart attack and everyone is scurrying about STAT to take care of situation. I have to grab my muse and hang on, hoping I get everything that it has to say to me during the period of time that it chooses to speak to me. I'm pretty good at short hand...lol!

VR:

Virtually Records needs a theme song, would you be interested?

ALKHEMY:

...of course.

VR:

Do you feel that "underground" is just a marketing term like anything else?

ALKHEMY:

Yep...it's a fad and a wannabe place for anyone who can't or has decided not to "make it" above ground.

VR:

Tell us about your website:

ALKHEMY:

It's me. Me. And then some more of me.

VR:

Will mp3.com really provide an avenue for people to make it?

ALKHEMY:

I'm sure of it. Definitely.

VR:

What's your favorite Kellogg's cereal?

ALKHEMY:

Chocolate Frosted Flakes
