CK:

You have been asked to travel outside the US or your home country for a good cause, do you go?

Cody Clinton and The Bishops:

Yeah. I've been asked to go to Nicaragua to help the children in the Managwa region to get dewormed and provide them with shoes and education. I have yet to have a chance to go. I am, however, hosting a benefit concert for the cause... it's called "The Concert for Nicaragua" and it will be held on 4/11/09

CK:

How long does it take for an average song to go from a musical idea to a recordable song?

Cody Clinton and The Bishops:

Depends. Most of the time it takes anywhere from a week or a month for a song to progress into a form that can be taken to a producer. Other times I finish an entire song in five minutes.... those are usually the best ones.

CK:

Last stage gig you did:

Cody Clinton and The Bishops:

I played at The Flytrap Music hall last weekend with The Yellow Pansies.

CK:

Longest running concert schedule?

Cody Clinton and The Bishops:

Well, consecutively it will be my two week run of shows in Steamboat, Colorado. I will be playing every night for 14 nights.. and possibly two venues some nights.

CK:

Do you do any recording on your own?

Cody Clinton and The Bishops:

Yeah. I used to record song ideas to my voicemail on my phone just so I wouldn't forget. Now I use the Garage Band program on the MacBook.

CK:

How experienced are you or the band on the stage?

Cody Clinton and The Bishops:

I've been playing music on stage since I was 16.. and I'm almost 27.

CK:

Do you have a page on the web with your concert places and times? If so where?

Cody Clinton and The Bishops:

myspace.com/codyclinton

CK:

What made you want to pursue songwriting?

Cody Clinton and The Bishops:

John Lennon. Bob Dylan. My family.

CK:

What makes you and your band unique?

Cody Clinton and The Bishops:

We're the most passive aggresive band in rock n' roll. Both personally and musically.

CK:

What is important to you about the music?

Cody Clinton and The Bishops:

It sounds good, feels good, and doesn't lie.
