CK:

Day time or Night time?

Agony Flames:

Oh, night time!

CK:

How would you categorize your overall music style?

Agony Flames:

Great. I think it's quite Heavy Metal music, but there are a lot of influences by Doom, Dark and Melodic Death Metal.

CK:

Has the internet really been helpful to your promotion?

Agony Flames:

Very huge numbers of promoting site for unsigned bands like ours. We're working on that a lot.

CK:

Where do you practice as a band and how often?

Agony Flames:

Our band is based on home working. Diego writes the songs in his house and the members can find there an Home Studio Recording.

CK:

When did you first start singing, what made you choose music?

Agony Flames:

Metal? We love metal.

CK:

How many members in the band write music?

Agony Flames:

Diego Grancini, the writer, the guitar player, the vocalist and the producer. Hey, he does all things!

CK:

What genre(s) would you say your music is under?

Agony Flames:

Right. "Hidden tale" is a Heavy Metal realesed, but our next one will be some quite different. We will introduce some growl singing in our songs, so we think we are crossing Death.

CK:

How experienced are you or the band on the stage?

Agony Flames:

oh, we've never played on stage. Writing is a great experience and we're nice about it. For live shows in future, if it will be possible, why not?

CK:

What you feel is the most important thing about your music?

Agony Flames:

Melody, great melodies and the deep friendship our music brought among us.

CK:

Most people will never know what it feels like to be on stage in front of a crowd, explain to them that feeling:

Agony Flames:

CK:

Have you ever paid for advertising for the band?

Agony Flames:

We relied on non-free promoting site like Cdbaby.

CK:

Let us say that you have been just signed by a major label and they say time to move 2500 miles. Now what, would you be able to move?

Agony Flames:

Oh yeah! Of course.

CK:

What is important to you about the music?

Agony Flames:

The possibility to listen to the music you like. If you can't listen to the music you love, you're almost dead.

CK:

What would you like to change about your city's local music scene?

Agony Flames:

People hear music, but not listen to it. So, we think it is difficult to give all musician the right place and we can't do anything about it.

CK:

Favorite clothing line?

Agony Flames:

No. Music is music, sharing nothing with cloths

CK:

What do you like most about being an INDE artist?

Agony Flames:

Freedom. We're free and this is the most important aspect. Nobody to force you doing anything.

CK:

Fast or Slow?

Agony Flames:

Fast, but some slow is beautiful.

CK:

Do you do any recording on your own?

Agony Flames:

Eh, we're finishing recording our second release and the third is almost finished writing.

CK:

How big of an impact do you think the underground, indie scene has on the current pop culture?

Agony Flames:

Noone. Absolutely.

CK:

If you could put on a show anywhere were would it be?

Agony Flames:

We think London, where Iron Maiden began their lives.

CK:

How long does it take for an average song to go from a musical idea to a recordable song?

Agony Flames:

It depends on inspiracy level of the writer. Diego wrote a song in a night or in a month.

CK:

What is your favorite local venue?

Agony Flames:

CK:

What made you want to pursue songwriting?

Agony Flames:

We don't know how it will pursue, we're happy on how it is now. But we're ready to improve our production with some more melodies.

CK:

Do you feel that "underground" is just a marketing term like anything else?

Agony Flames:

CK:

Are you looking to get a record deal? Why?

Agony Flames:

CK:

What makes you and your band unique?

Agony Flames:

Surely the mood in our songs and Silvia's voice. She's a very good singer.

CK:

How do you transport your equipment to the gig?

Agony Flames:

CK:

If you could talk to anyone in the music business, who would it be?

Agony Flames:

CK:

Tell us about your worst gig and why it was so bad.

Agony Flames:

CK:

What is your MySpace URL?

Agony Flames:

www.myspace.com/agonyflamescu

CK:

If your band could open for a headlining act, who would it be and why?

Agony Flames:

Iron Maiden, 'cause they are the ones.

CK:

Introduce the members in the band:

Agony Flames:

Ah, ok. Diego Grancini is the guitar player and singer, Franco Moncelsi is the Bass guitar player, Francesco Bergami is the male singer and Silvia Beretto is the female singer. That's all.

CK:

Who are your biggest influences?

Agony Flames:

As we told you, Iron Maiden, Iron Maiden, Iron Maiden

CK:

Are there any established artists with whom you would like to collaborate?

Agony Flames:

Oh, they are on a so high level, so we think we're never work with Domine, Iron Maiden, Rhapsody, etc.

CK:

What is your favorite song on your current album?

Agony Flames:

New fate, we think. It was recorded very well and the melodies are not so bad!

CK:

Name and describe your most memorable gig.

Agony Flames:

CK:

Who is your favorite unsigned Band?

Agony Flames:

CK:

Do you have a street or e-team system in place? Want one for your website?

Agony Flames:

CK:

How did you/all learn to play, self or school?

Agony Flames:

All members have different stories: Silvia learned all she knows at school, she has studied since she was 6; Diego is a self-learned man, Francesco studies singing and Franco studies bass guitar playing.

CK:

So, tell me..what exactly, motivates you, the artist to write songs?

Agony Flames:

Oh, it is a natural thing. Fortunately, it comes from inside.
