CK:

What do you like most about being an INDE artist?

Adaniyah:

The fact that you get to play all the time. It's so much fun!

CK:

What made you want to pursue songwriting?

Adaniyah:

It's always been in our minds. We find that expressing emotions in song is a great way to share your thoughts.

CK:

If you could put on a show anywhere were would it be?

Adaniyah:

We would love to be a part of Ozzfest.

CK:

What is your favorite local venue?

Adaniyah:

Bottletree Cafe

CK:

What is your MySpace URL?

Adaniyah:

www.myspace.com/adaniyah

CK:

What are your plans for the future with your band?

Adaniyah:

Hopefully we will be able to make a career out of it so obviously that means we want to keep the band together forever.

CK:

Day time or Night time?

Adaniyah:

Definitely night.

CK:

What is your favorite song on your current album?

Adaniyah:

Unfortunately we don't have an album yet, but we will be releasing songs on our MySpace page soon.

CK:

Where do you practice as a band and how often?

Adaniyah:

About two times a week at our lovely guitarist's house.

CK:

What would you like to change about your city's local music scene?

Adaniyah:

We would add more venues for our type of music.

CK:

How would you categorize your overall music style?

Adaniyah:

Um, what?

CK:

Tell us about your worst gig and why it was so bad.

Adaniyah:

The first gig we ever played was the suckiest. Everyone was so nervous and some of us actually fucked up a song or two.

CK:

Can you name a few of you favorite places on the web for band promotions?

Adaniyah:

GarageBand, Myspace, and BroadJam.

CK:

What makes you and your band unique?

Adaniyah:

Our name is probably the most unique thing about us. We're not gonna lie, our sound isn't too unique.

CK:

Are you looking to get a record deal? Why?

Adaniyah:

Yes we are because we want to make playing music our job.

CK:

What you feel is the most important thing about your music?

Adaniyah:

Lyrics. Different lyrics reach out to different people and we want our sound to amplify across the whole music panel.

CK:

What genre(s) would you say your music is under?

Adaniyah:

Rock/Metal/Alt.

CK:

Do you do any recording on your own?

Adaniyah:

That's really the only way we can record. For now we're having to stick with the low-quality stuff to save money.

CK:

How did you/all learn to play, self or school?

Adaniyah:

Michelle taught herself and she also taught a few of us. The rest of the members knew how to play already from lessons we took earlier.

CK:

Name and describe your most memorable gig.

Adaniyah:

The first one because we sucked. Period.

CK:

How long does it take for an average song to go from a musical idea to a recordable song?

Adaniyah:

Possibly weeks. Before we put down a song on the "Add to record" list, we have to listen to the demo numerous times to see if the song gets old quickly.

CK:

Are there any established artists with whom you would like to collaborate?

Adaniyah:

Paramore and Avenged Sevenfold are two bands that we look up to so working with one of them would be amazing. Working with both would be out of this world...in a good way.

CK:

Describe your typical stage show performance. Give us a hint into what we might expect to see are your show.

Adaniyah:

We move around a lot. If you're not the type who can handle jumping around, we suggest you not come.

CK:

Do you have a street or e-team system in place? Want one for your website?

Adaniyah:

Currently we do not have a street team, but there is an e-team in the works.

CK:

How many members in the band write music?

Adaniyah:

We all actually pitch in. No idea is discarded without being discussed by all of us.

CK:

Favorite clothing line?

Adaniyah:

All of us are fans of Clandestine and just like other bands, we wear band t-shirts a lot.

CK:

If you wanted to make your own genre name, what would it be?

Adaniyah:

Miscellaneous. It could be for people who wanted to experiment with anything.

CK:

How big of an impact do you think the underground, indie scene has on the current pop culture?

Adaniyah:

As long as people are interested in supporting their local scene it has a pretty good impact on it.

CK:

Most people will never know what it feels like to be on stage in front of a crowd, explain to them that feeling:

Adaniyah:

The feeling is freaking amazing! You know you're the ones getting all the attention and to hear people chant your name is like being able to have all your dreams come true.

CK:

How do you transport your equipment to the gig?

Adaniyah:

We usually drive separate cars. Eventually we'll get a van and then a big "magic" tour bus.
