CK:

What do you like most about being an INDE artist?

DAVINCIS KRADLE:

Creative freedom.

CK:

Favorite clothing line?

DAVINCIS KRADLE:

I dunno. Other than a good pair of leather pants, I'm just a Levi and t-shirt kind of guy. No specif line then I guess.

CK:

How experienced are you or the band on the stage?

DAVINCIS KRADLE:

Well, my first stage performance was at the age of 15 with a band named Crystal Witch, and I've been performing live since then, first locally with Felony/Passion. Got my first opening spots with a major label artist and national headlining shows on the club circuit when we formed Psycho Blue, and continue now with DK. So yeah, done alot of stage shows.

CK:

How big of an impact do you think the underground, indie scene has on the current pop culture?

DAVINCIS KRADLE:

Oh Huge. Most all great artist perfected their craft in the underground scene. And in my opinion, pop culture is just a mirror of what emerges from the indie underground.

CK:

Do you do any recording on your own?

DAVINCIS KRADLE:

I have some recordings, but as of now, no real plans of releasing them. But, who knows what the future holds.

CK:

What are your plans for the future with your band?

DAVINCIS KRADLE:

Well, right now we have a deal to release 2 albums with Reel Mad Music. the first, "My New World" has just become available to stores on Nov.1st, and will be available shortly online. So first we're looking forward to putting together our tour dates in support of the albums and are also writing for the future, so we'll see how far it takes us.

CK:

Introduce the members in the band:

DAVINCIS KRADLE:

Funny you should ask. First a little history. The band formed with members: Ricky Sykes-guitar, Steve Turner-guitar, Glen Cates-bass, Sammy Ammons-drums, and Bill Weatherman-vocals. The band line-up changed to: Steve Turner-guitar, Tim Strickland-bass, Sammy Ammons-drums, and Bill Weatherman-vocals, during the cd "Chapter One". The new release, "My New World" was recorded mostly by this line-up, but included Chuck Sicola, who replaced Steve Turner when he left to pursue a solo career. After the songs were recorded for the new album, Chuck, Sammy and Tim started a second band project called Beyond Glory. We all ageed that it's time for Davincis Kradle to release "My New World" to it's fans, but due to contractural obligations and scheduling conflicts, the current touring, and future DK line-up, cannot be releasd at this time. But what I can say, is that I will be surrounded by talented musicians that will continue the Davincis Kradle concept.

CK:

What you feel is the most important thing about your music?

DAVINCIS KRADLE:

I feel that music is supposed to reach people in unexpected ways, and a think our music reaches people on other levels than they're used to.

CK:

If your band could open for a headlining act, who would it be and why?

DAVINCIS KRADLE:

We've opened for alot of em', but I would like to open for Ozzie. Just because of what he has been to rock over the years.

CK:

Are you looking to get a record deal? Why?

DAVINCIS KRADLE:

I dunno. These days, competition at that level is fierce. It's hard for the record companies to pay most artist what the deserve, with the state the music industry is in. Sometimes I feel that an indie artist with a small label, has a better chance getting his music to a successful fanbase.
