CK:

Who are your biggest influences?

Beggars Fortune:

Good question, and as you can understand, hard. We, like most music listeners today, listen to different and new styles almost everyday. Do to that, the answer would be the 'digital age.' Our biggest influence today would have to the the availablity of music onlne.

CK:

Are you looking to get a record deal? Why?

Beggars Fortune:

Sure, why not. Of course, we are preparing ourselves if the deal doesn't ever come...but we don't really think about it. If you think that the record deal won't come, than it won't.

CK:

What is your MySpace URL?

Beggars Fortune:

www.myspace.com/beggarsfortune

CK:

Most people will never know what it feels like to be on stage in front of a crowd, explain to them that feeling:

Beggars Fortune:

For us it is an honor and get to play music for people. We all know there is so much more than someone can do besides listen to a band play music...so the feeling would be of acceptance and honor.

CK:

What made you want to pursue songwriting?

Beggars Fortune:

Everyone in the world is a songwriter...just some find their pen and paper faster than others.

CK:

Has the internet really been helpful to your promotion?

Beggars Fortune:

Of course...the new face of music.

CK:

How long does it take for an average song to go from a musical idea to a recordable song?

Beggars Fortune:

Wow...all depends. So the average would be 1 month. We have some songs go into recording the day afer it was written...and some songs resurface a year later

CK:

How would you categorize your overall music style?

Beggars Fortune:

Acoustic driven, rock n roll, with a bit of a groove at times, and the most sweet songs put throughout the performances and albums. Always mix it..reaggae, funk, blues...whatever...

CK:

Are there any established artists with whom you would like to collaborate?

Beggars Fortune:

Del Amitri Counting Crows Toad the Wet Sprocket

CK:

What do you like most about being an INDE artist?

Beggars Fortune:

The trials you go through and the will power that it takes to keep going. There is nothing between a dream and a failure but you.
