A Popup Interview with Brickworm
[ Artist Website ] | [ Buy Our CD ]
CK: How experienced are you or the band on the stage?
Brickworm: Our band is fairly unexperienced. We have only performed once so far but hope to perform again soon.
CK: Tell us about your website:
Brickworm: Our web-site offers some information, maily about our upcoming EP, The Weapons Of Mass Destruction EP. Also featured are lyrics, photos and more.
CK: Most people will never know what it feels like to be on stage in front of a crowd, explain to them that feeling:
Brickworm: On the stage you feel very tense. You feel that one slip and the entire thing will go out the window. You ae most careful on stage than anywhere else but the feeeling of playing and the crowd moshing just makes you smile.
CK: Do you have a street or e-team system in place? Want one for your website?
Brickworm: Yeah...please.
CK: Let us say that you have been just signed by a major label and they say time to move 2500 miles. Now what, would you be able to move?
Brickworm: I probably wouldn't be able to move. And well we would be well upset that we have got that record label.
CK: Introduce the members in the band:
Brickworm: Our lead singer is DogPorn. Our guitarist and second singer is Zipper. Our bassist is PunkerJoe and our drummer is Curlz. We have nicknames instead of using our real names.
CK: So, tell me..what exactly, motivates you, the artist to write songs?
Brickworm: Well the main thing is how we are feeling, what we are doing. So if someone has broken up with their girlfriend, we'd make a song about that.
CK: Describe your typical stage show performance. Give us a hint into what we might expect to see are your show.
Brickworm: We like to have an introduction with DogPorn introducing us to the crowd and Zipper playing a few chords in the background with PunkerJoe.
CK: What genre(s) would you say your music is under?
Brickworm: I would say we are a mixture of lots of genres. Rock basically but it is Punk, Grunge and Indie that we base our music round.
CK: Name and describe your most memorable gig.
Brickworm: Our first one at our school! We were very nervous. All the lights were in a way offputting but w e got through it and wanted to get back on stage and play again!
