CK: So, tell me..what exactly, motivates you, the artist to write songs?
Archaeology: The outside, the inside. sometimes girls, sometimes luck, excitment
CK: What is your favorite local venue?
Archaeology: THE EMPTY BOTTLE
CK: Give us a run down of your audio equipment:
Archaeology: extremely loud pricy stuff. we look cool on stage.
CK: How do you transport your equipment to the gig?
Archaeology: in a motorized vehicle, i ride myself (i guess my body is equipment) on a bike
CK: Has the internet really been helpful to your promotion?
Archaeology: not yet, but it has helped get through some lonely times(i'm talking about porn)
CK: Do you do any recording on your own?
Archaeology: yes. we have others record our band though, we aren't the best engineers
CK: What is important to you about the music?
Archaeology: not being lame and not causing discomfort. we want to love every note, we don't want to fake it
CK: If you could talk to anyone in the music business, who would it be?
Archaeology: Steve albini
CK: When did you first start singing, what made you choose music?
Archaeology: I was in 6th grade. I saw a green day video and thought "wow, something that doesn't suck". I've been in love withmusic ever since

Archaeology: Brad smith plays bass and sings, Pete cautious plays guitar, nick g. plays guitar and sings, and taylor C. plays drums
