CK: What would you like to change about your city's local music scene?
Dark End Down: We definitely need more venues or current clubs to be more open about the variety of music they are willing to try.
CK: What do you like most about being an INDE artist?
Dark End Down: Freedom in the creation of our music and the sound WE want to make.
CK: Who is your favorite unsigned Band?
Dark End Down: Don't have a favorite at the moment.
CK: What are your plans for the future with your band?
Dark End Down: Finish recording our first cd and go out on tour this summer.
CK: When did you first start singing, what made you choose music?
Dark End Down: I was 16 years old. I hung around alot of friends that were all in bands.
CK: Have you ever paid for advertising for the band?
Dark End Down: Nope, we're all self promoted grassroots style.
CK: How many members in the band write music?
Dark End Down: all of us.
CK: So, tell me..what exactly, motivates you, the artist to write songs?
Dark End Down: We just love to perform and continually writing new material keeps the show interesting for fans that have been with us for awhile and keeps it fresh for us.
CK: Describe your typical stage show performance. Give us a hint into what we might expect to see are your show.
Dark End Down: We have a huge sound. It's just a wall of heavy, heavy music. Dave is a big intense presence center stage and keeps the crowd going.
CK: How long does it take for an average song to go from a musical idea to a recordable song?
Dark End Down: We work pretty fast. I'd say about 2 weeks from the first riff to being complete and ready to record.
