CK: Where do you practice as a band and how often?
David Sweet (Anubis Spire): None of us practice--We on occasion will rehearse, then record.
CK: What genre(s) would you say your music is under?
David Sweet (Anubis Spire): You cannot "pidgeon-hole" this type of music. It's just fantastic music (to us anyway)
CK: Are there any established artists with whom you would like to collaborate?
David Sweet (Anubis Spire): Yup...bring 'em on!
CK: If you could talk to anyone in the music business, who would it be?
David Sweet (Anubis Spire): John Lennon....see if Miss Cleo is available....
CK: What made you want to pursue songwriting?
David Sweet (Anubis Spire): It sure beats forgetting to put it down, then losing it forever 'cuz you can't remember how it went.
CK: How do you transport your equipment to the gig?
David Sweet (Anubis Spire): roadies...lot & lots of roadies....
CK: How experienced are you or the band on the stage?
David Sweet (Anubis Spire): Hendrix also asked the same question...did HE get an answer?
CK: Most people will never know what it feels like to be on stage in front of a crowd, explain to them that feeling:
David Sweet (Anubis Spire): First, pee you pants, then have a great time!
CK: What do you like most about being an INDE artist?
David Sweet (Anubis Spire): My band mates...couldn't do it with out 'em!
CK: Do you do any recording on your own?
David Sweet (Anubis Spire): Yes. I do Electronic Rock/Space Rock as a solo artist. Go to www.e-musiclabs.com to see what I mean.
CK: What is important to you about the music?
David Sweet (Anubis Spire): Music IS the important thing!!! It's always been about the music, presentation, and the fans. Oh, and it's got to be really really loud...piss off the neighbors loud.
CK: Has the internet really been helpful to your promotion?
David Sweet (Anubis Spire): It will be....I can be lazy, and this stuff dosn't promote itself ya know...
CK: If you could put on a show anywhere were would it be?
David Sweet (Anubis Spire): Mars.
CK: Have you ever paid for advertising for the band?
David Sweet (Anubis Spire): I'll pretend I didn't hear that.
CK: How long does it take for an average song to go from a musical idea to a recordable song?
David Sweet (Anubis Spire): It takes as long as it takes...and it has to be right.
