VR: Do you desire to come up with a new form of music or do you like safety in numbers?
Crash Seven: From the beginning, we have had an intense desire to create an entire new genre of music, dubbed "Southern Alternative".
VR: How long does it take for an average song to go from a musical idea to a recordable song?
Crash Seven: It depends on the complexity of the song, but usually 2 to 4 weeks.
VR: What would you do if you lost your musical abilities and are you a fullfilled enough person to accept that if it happened?
Crash Seven: Thats a tough one, I feel that we would continue to attempt to instill a positive message to ones looking for enlightment.
I personally feel that the talent I have been given was given to me by GOD, and if HE chooses to take it away from me then I am prepared to accept that.
VR: What do your lyrics talk about?
Crash Seven: Our lyrics are a positive message aimed at all age groups and backgrounds. We try to uplift those who are down as well as encourage those who arent.
VR: If you could talk to anyone in the music business, who would it be?
Crash Seven: It would DEFINITELY be a label executive ready and willing to promote and market Crash Seven to the world!!
VR: Are there any established artists with whom you would like to collaborate?
Crash Seven: Yes, I would like to collaborate with Paul Doucette, Don Henley, Ann Wilson, and of course Rob Thomas, as well as collaborating drums and percussion with Rick Savage.
VR: What is your favorite song on your current album?
Crash Seven: No doubt it has to be "Face of God".
VR: What are your plans for the future with your band?
Crash Seven: We have recently had a change in our vocal lineup, and the bands future is well underway!!
VR: How big of an impact do you think the underground, indie scene has on the current pop culture?
Crash Seven: I feel that divisions in music are becoming closer, headed toward a large genre of music of all styles, with a growing number of new acts coming to the forefront from the underground indie cultures.
VR: Where do you think this MP3 business is going?
Crash Seven: Straight to the TOP!
