VR:
Do your songs have a message?

Axis 1:
All of our songs carry strong personal and emotional messages. For example Death Is.. was inspired by the death of a very young and close friend. The message to the song is that even though Death is always urking you should do you most to live life to it's fullest.

VR:
What is your favorite chord?

Axis 1:
Gary says his favorite chord is E. Something very soothing about this particular chord and the sound it resonates.

VR:
Discribe the times revolved around your song "nameone", that led to it to be written:

Axis 1:
Well, All You Do Is Nag was written as a direct response to life. I currently make my living (Gary) working in a psych facility as an RN. After dealing with the bullshit and constant needs of 26 patients you want to come home and find some space to unwind. Instead I came home to a constant barrage, why didn't you do this, how come this is like this etc. The rest is history!!!

VR:
Do you feel that "underground" is just a marketing term like anything else?

Axis 1:
No it is not a marketing term. I feel that it's independent musicians and labels that are trying to get "Above Ground" or shall we say into the mainstream, where BIG BUSINESS dominates. Some are happy to be underground, while others lurk in the inderground scene looking for their opportunity. Either way the Underground is a happening scene with lots of special talent.

VR:
Where do you think this MP3 business is going?

Axis 1:
MP3 seems to be moving towards becoming a major force in the music world and with it's digital orientation it is right where all the current technology is focused. I think it's positioned itself very well to help take unknown artists to new heights.

VR:
Are there any established artists with whom you would like to collaborate?

Axis 1:
Tons of them. I can't begin to name them all. On the other hand their are lots of unknown artists who are just as talented that woyuld be fun to collaborate with.

VR:
Where do you want to be a year from now personally?

Axis 1:
On top of the world!!!!

If you could get a message to the inside mp3.com what would that message be?

Axis 1:
Thanks for helping out the independent musician,. You're help has made me realize things and dreams that I never thought possible. eg Where Have I Gone? spent 2 weeks at No. 1 on the Grunge charts that was quite a rush. Having a Brazilian fm radio station tell me that they love my music and are playing it on the airwaves down there was quite a rush as well. All this because of MP3. Thanks!!!!

Axis 1:
