VR:

Where do you think this MP3 business is going?

Audible Rebirth:

I think it is going to take over the music industry. Either people will pay for their favorite bands sing. And/or listen to new bands free.


VR:

How big of an impact do you think the underground, indie scene has on the current pop culture?

Audible Rebirth:

Well it think that's were pop get alot of it's riffs and breaks from the undergroung. It allows for sounding original(some what).


VR:

How do you guys put songs together?

Audible Rebirth:

I usual start with the vocals sung to a prerecorded drum track or beat box. then I ad melodys/chords/ and riffs. Until it sounds like i am with a real band.


VR:

Are there any established artists with whom you would like to collaborate?

Audible Rebirth:

Trent Reznor,Lou Reed, Neil Young, Spiral Stairs, The stones, Jimi Page,Beck ,Sonic Youth, sebadoh, J>Mascis


VR:

What is your favorite local venue?

Audible Rebirth:

The Whiskey


VR:

Where would you want to be musically say a year from now?

Audible Rebirth:

A ROCK STAR. Or at least selling some albums. I have 3 out now. But no body has bought them.


VR:

Name and describe your most memorable gig.

Audible Rebirth:

Gladriel Birthday Party in 1993. Haven't Played live since 1994.


VR:

Have you ever paid for advertising for the band?

Audible Rebirth:

Not yet.


VR:

What would you change about the music business in general?

Audible Rebirth:

That it wasn't so imiage orientated, and not controled by recording industryies.


VR:

If you could talk to anyone in the music business, who would it be?

Audible Rebirth:

David Geffen, I'd tell him to sign me and we will both make millions.


VR:

Tell us about the hardest time surrounding a gig or studio project.

Audible Rebirth:

Laast year I was homeless while trying to mix down "new wave love songs" EP. I took me months to finish it.


VR:

Do you have all your songs downloadable at mp3.com?

Audible Rebirth:

Most of them for free.


VR:

Will mp3.com really provide an avenue for people to make it?

Audible Rebirth:

I think so if they would promote good artist that can't afford to promote themselves.


VR:

Do you feel that "underground" is just a marketing term like anything else?

Audible Rebirth:

No it is a state of mind


VR:

What is your favorite song on the radio?

Audible Rebirth:

Voodoo Child(slight return) by jimi hendrix
