hello, i'm still on my search for my car set-up and i have heard that its better to get all speakers from a same brand since they might be manufactured with different materials. i'm looking for a pair of component speakers for my front doors which are 6 3/4 and a pair of rear deck speakers which are also 6- 3/4. i have looked at alpine and infinity. they have a few but if there is anything else that can be recomended please let me know

Well they seem to be just the rage here and i got a pair they are CDT speakers 6.5 inch components they have 2 differnt sets at www.thezeb.com one for 200 and one for 149 i purchased the 200$ ones and could not have been more impressed by them. a bunch of people here have got the 150$ ones and where blown away as well. as far as all speakers of the same brand that is nessicarily true alot of companies do bass really well and alot do high end really well. some companies do subs really well. so i perosnaly like to pick and choose i currently have all cdt for my mids and highs and a pioneer deck i currently have a 2 alpine subs and i'm going to get some higher end subs also. and my system being asw mix matched as it is sounds great.
