I have a project taking place right now for a nissan altima 2000. what i think of using is a JBL bpx600.2 amp for the two alpine swr-241d subwoofers and a phoenix goold octane r amp for the front and rear deck speakers. i would like to know what you guys think about this setup and if you have any suggestions plese let me know. oh and i'm going to use an alpine cda-9811 if that help.

I will also like to have some input about power, if i will need a cap or another battery.

I really like alpines quality they have really good sq. Also i like jbl's new amplifier line they are awesome to unlike the powervalve series they have some filters. What are you thinking for the front speakers??? maybe a good set of alpine components to top it off would be real nice and a four channel JBL to run the deck and front speakers?????

i'm thinking about the phoenix gold octane r 5r.4 4channel amplifier to run(just what you said) an alpine front component for front doors and 2way infinity kappa for the rear.

if you think of anything better let me know

As for power issues you should be fine what it the amp rating of your alternator i know the JBL draws 57amps and i'm not sure what the pheonix gold draws. You should be fine though. You might want to get an 800-850cca battery just to keep some stress off the alt but it shouldn't be bad.

Which battery do you recomend, Brand? and i want to use an equalizer for my set-up. will that be a good idea?

Batteries of the same cca rating are about the same they have gel cells that last longer but are alot heavier. Also alot of people recommend optima red tops or yellow tops, but i'm just gonna say go to your local autozone or advanced auto and get the biggest cca rating that will fit in your battery tray. doesn't really matter what brand but something with around 800cca. As for the eq it is a good idea it will help you set up the sound the way you want it. Not hard to hook up, you can use a pre-out from your headunit or use the high pass which is hooking it up to your speaker wires
