it should be + to - opposite voice coils, then the + from one voice coil back to the amp and the - from the other back to the amp.
amp + to VC1+
VC1 - to VC2 +
VC2- to amp -

So opposite voice coils....take a + from one vc then a - from the other connect them with one wire......then i have a + from one vc and a - from the other....and i connect them to the amp + to plus and -to -?? thats what i did and i think thats how your saying it up there correct?

but this may sound stupid but my amp isnt arriving til tuesday, so i hooked it up to my home reciever and was having the problem that i described above?? is it because its differant ohms or something?? and will it do that when i hook it up to my car? I just wanted top hear them. lol im impatient
And when i do hook them up in the car i want to bridge the subs right....so its 4 ohms to four ohms?

most home stereo systems run at 8 ohms. I understand your impatience, I've been there. I wouldn't test my system like that for long though, something may give, either your reciever or your subs.
and yes, you want to bridge your amp to match the 4 ohm load.

you are right ..

double check them anyway, I hooked up my audiobahns wrong because they put the little red + dot on the wrong side of the VC.. almost blew one. I double checked when I wasn't getting the sound I thought I should, and sure enough, the little red sticker was covering up the - mark on the voice coil terminal.
