If you need amp info....not sure if that determines how you run it...2000 watt legacy (model- LA1990) 2 channel 2ohm stereo stable bridgeable into 4ohms Replies (3) Buickman94 on 12/2/2003 14:55:08 There are 2 ways to wire these subs to that amp. Option 1, run each sub to its own channel. Just wire each one in parallel (+ to +, and - to -). Option 2, Bridge the amp. wire each sub in series for 8 ohms each. Then wire them to amp brigged (use 1 + and one - on the amp, the proper ones to bridge it should be labeled). The 2 8 ohm subs gives you a net of 4 ohms. Either way would give you basically the same power to each sub. cplkittle on 12/3/2003 09:49:34 simple as possible... start with the positive on your amp for a bridged connection go to the positive on one of the voice coils on the first speaker, take the negative from the same voice coil and run it to the positive of the other voice coil (same speaker), and then run the negative of the second voice coil back to the negative on the bridged amp. Now you have one DVC speaker wired in series to itself producing 8 ohms. Do the same for the other speaker and when you tie it in to the amp (the same leads the other speaker is connected to) you have two DVC speakers connected to the same bridged leads (parallel) giving you 4 ohms at the amp.
