What is the easiest way to install a set of 60.5 infinity into an amplifiied stock GM stereo if I am not wanting to run another amp It would be going into a 03 Monte Carlo. Also picked up a pair of 60.5 really cheap and one of the speakers is blown. Can someone fix them or where can i buy another one at. SMILE

What is blown? the mid range or tweeter? some places can fix them mattering what is wrong with it but from my experience it is usualy fairly costly. if it is the tweeter from looking at the infinity web page they sell tweeters seperatly but you have to by them in pairs. i personaly dont know any places that sell them in singles maybe someone else can help with that.
as far as installing i'm not to familar with gm cars but someone else can probaly help with that.

If you are using these as replacement speakers, you can just use the existing wires that were connected to the old speakers. The RMS on these speakers is 2-90 watts; 270w peak. From what I can find, you have a 200w auxillary amplifier, and if the factory HU has a cd player, you have a six speaker premium surround setup.
How that is divided up, I don't know, probably something like 25 ea for tweets in the front, 25 ea for door or kickplate mids in the front, and 50 ea for the rear speakers.
Where are you putting the new components?

Don't know about fixing them, may be cheaper to replace.

I am planning on put them in the exsisting spots. but i have crossovers that I guess i would like to use. Where would i go with them? Or do i even need them.

u should use the crossovers, will keep the bass from damagin your tweets, they will just direct the frequencies and make the speakers sound better since they are only runnin the freqs they were intended for
try fittin the crossovers down in the door below the speaker, can use 2 sided tape to adhear it to the inside of the door, just make sure you have clearence for your window.
