I was wondering if anyone was selling or knows someone that is selling there Rockford Fosgate 1500.1BD, and if so please reply to this posted message. Thank You, APitBullTUSFLAG PS I already have 2 but need more im looking at a price range of $200-$300 Replies (3) compvr15s on 12/1/2003 15:34:46 what kind of system are you trying to power with 3 bd1500.1s? have you upgraded your electrical system, im sure that your jeep can handle 1 or 2(maybe not the second) but i highly doubt it can take all 3. are you building a competition vehicle or do you just want that much power. ? APitBullT on 12/2/2003 13:55:18 I have 2 12" RF Power HX2s running on 2 Power 1500bd, and I have a Type RF Competition 100 Farad capacitor, with a OEQ 10 band signal processor and I have CP4CKDS amp kit (800 watts), and I have the pioneer premier DEH-P940MP deck, I also have the RF Fanatic Q FNQ3146 component speakers, but everything is not hooked up yet, i upgraded my electrical system, and bought an extra battery (might get another one)and im about to buy a bigger alt., if you think it wont run in the jeep, will it be better if i put it in the navigator, or will it be the samething, please reply before i buy alt. Thank You, APitBullTUSFLAG compvr15s on 12/2/2003 16:25:17 either vehicle could handle one or two maybe but not 3. do them subs require such a big amp, how are your subs wired right now? im asuming 2omhs to each amp, if so then you wont be able to use the amp to its fullest. but if you can get both subs wired down to 2 ohms you can get 750 to each sub, probably wont notice the difference from the 1000 you give to them now from the 750, 1 or 2 db. you could run both subs off one amp then take the other bd 1500.1 put it in the navigator and get another set of subs. then you have room to get a good amp to run your interior speakers. either way you go you wont need a 3rd bd1500.1. check to see how your subs are wired then let us know. also check the fuse rating on the amp. hope im not confusing you but you should definitly not need that other amp, an alternator upgrade would be helpful as well as upgrading your cables from your alt to the battery and the battery to the ground, factory is probably 6-8awg. go with 4awg to get the most power movement through the cable. ill stop for now, if you have more questions just ask. good luck Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
