Hello, i really need help, ive been to about 5 sites trying to get info on hooking up my subs and im just not sure if i did it right.

I have 2 15' DVC Volfenhag subs, i have them in a dual ported box that has seperate chambers. Now what i did for each sub is hook the + to the + and - to - then hooked them up to the box terminal. now in the diagrams i looked at it seems like the wiring is connected between subs, im not sure. well then i was going to hook them up to my amp in 2 seperate channels. Is this correct?? the amp i have is a 2400 watt legacy...1200.2 Please help me. im not using them yet because i dont want to ruin them.

Assuming those are dual 4 ohm, and they are if they are the ZX-4715, you should be fine. There are 2 ways to wire DVC subs, series and parallel. If you wire the + to the + and the - to the - on the same sub, this is wiring in parallel and it cuts the impedence on the sub in half, making it 2 ohms. If You wire the +'s to the -'s on the same sub you have it wired in series, which doubles the impedence of the sub, making it 8 ohms. Im pretty sure that your amp is 2 ohm stable as most 2 channel amps are, but double check. If it is, then the way you have everything wired now will work.

Great! yes those are the subs i have, and my amp is 2ohm stable. I've been stressing how to do , and not being able to figure this stuff out for days. I didnt want to take it to any car audio place beceause they all seem pretty shady to me. This site is Great and thank you for such a fast reply!!
