I would like to follow up with articles on tuning ports, bandpass, and isobarik setups, but it is hard to find information on tuning ports that I can translate into a language everyone understands. Any suggestions or help here?

I am sorry but I have little knowledge on that subject . Maybe others can jump in here ..

The only way I understand is trial and error.
From the reseach I've done, trying to find the best possible designs, etc...., it always comes down to the same thing. Buy some expensive equipment, or buy/trust a box building program. From my experience, and the woodpile I've generated over the years, it basically comes down to experimentation.
If you find something, I'd be extremely interested in checking it out, and even trying a few things, but all I can offer right now is a pat on the back, and a 'good luck' to you.

I did write an article on each type of box if you are interested (sealed, ported, and bandpass) in the DIY section... ran across some really helpful information doing research on these, and learned alot as well.
