I just got my truck and its a dual cab and my cousin also has a truck and he has his truck set up with a sub behind each seat. I would like to do kinda the same thing but i have no idea what is good in terms of decks, subs and amps. Im really on a low budget maybe 3 to 4 hundred dollars. Some feedback on what is good for your first system would be great thank you.

This is what I recommend to everyone.. listen to what everyone here has to say though.
Go to a stereo shop, and act interested.. get their recommendation and listen to all of the speakers and such.. pick out what you like, come home and order it from ebay.
First of all your Head Unit is the most important part of your system. Do not spare any expense when picking out one of high quality. It should last you a good 6-7 years before you decide to upgrade. Go with quality mids and highs. If money is an issue, I think Blaupunkt mids sound pretty good and most of them are 40w max, therefore no need for an amp. Subs you really need to listen to, and like I said get them online, shop around. You will save 50-60% buying them online. If you can get everything you want from the same company, you will save even more on shipping.

get an alarm first, then a system... Don't put the cart before the horse..
