I have a Sony X-Plod head unit cdx-ca710x. a friend told me that i could download mp3's to it and play them from my stereo. the problem is how? i don't have the manual anymore, and thanks in advance Replies (6) STRATUS225 on 11/26/2003 11:49:15 go to www.ita.sel.sony.com/support/ and e-mail them. As far as i know, if this is possible to do, the whole HU has to be removeable and comes with a cradle to pop it into. I'm pretty sure that HU does not have that feature and if it can play mp3's, it will state that clearly on the faceplate. Unfortunately it seems as though sony is one of the only car audio companies that does not have archived manuals on-line to down load from. STRATUS225 on 11/26/2003 12:01:22 ok, slight update. I now have a freshly printed owners manual in my hand for my old deck cdx-ca650x. I take my last comment back. Go to that fore-mentioned website, click on car audio and it will prompt a link. hit the link and then it will prompt you to put in model # and problem. type in model number and then hit the DOCUMENTATION tab. it will flip through about 5 screens and come up with what you want. Hope this helps. 65_nova on 11/26/2003 17:36:13 every time i try to download the files, my computer freezes STRATUS225 on 11/26/2003 17:59:34 well, now its outta my hands. Not much of a computer genious. I've been successfull three times today downloading the files and printing. Sorry. Anyone else have an answer? 65_nova on 11/26/2003 19:01:38 could you copy the link to whichever one deals with mp3's and post the link here? cplkittle on 11/26/2003 19:06:18 if it is an adobe or pdf file, I have trouble with those. I have to right click on the link, and save it to the desktop, then open it... don't know why, maybe this will help Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
