could be a couple of things.. check all of your grounds, and look at the post from about two weeks ago titled "that whining sound"
That should help you out alot

you get the noise from the subs, or from the rest of the system? Are there two amps?

I would say seperate the prw and signal though...

yea im gettin the whinnin from the regular speakers i have two 800 amps.. when i turn my subs off its like getting feedback from the alternator from my speakers.. my therory is that the alt is soo used to puttin out power to the subs to keep them goin that when i hit the switch on my remote amp wire that the alt is still working hard and is puttin the extra power into the speaker amp and after awhile it dies down so its just for about 2 min that i can hear the whinning....

ohh yea and another thing about the humming i have my power wire and rca like right next to eachother runnin back to the trunk.. should i run all the rca on one side of the car and run all the power wires on the other side of the car.. would that be a start or at least help???

Yea its always a good idea to have ur RCA cable running on the opposite side of the car that your power wire is.
