Ok i asked this once but only got 1 awnser... i'm getting a phoenix gold titanium series 1200.1 amp.... this amp is rated at 4 ohm (isaca rms) at 250x1 at 4 ohm 600x1 and at 2 ohm 1200x1 and at 2 ohm (dynamic power) 1400x1... this is definatly the amp i'm getting... now i want a set of 2 12" subs that this amp well power easily i want all clean bass i'm going for SQ mainly but i dont want to skimp on the SPL but i well of course go with SQ over anything.... i currently have 2 10" alpine type R DVC and a phoenix gold tantrum series amp 500x2 i'm giveing up this set up because to get the spl i want i'm losing alot of sq because i'm cranking the amp all the way up... at about half the gain and half the HU's bass boost these speakers sound awsome as far as SQ but once i start pushing them i lose alot of it... btw my HU is a pioneer premier deh-640. so any advice on speakers would be apreciated.
