I would like to replace the 6*9 fact speakers in my 03 monte carlo. I cant seem to figure out the easiest way of removing the rear deck and seats.

have you checked in your trunk, there may be a baffle underneath the speaker, it will look like a plastic square, maybe have a few nuts on it or some clips holding it up, remove that and your speaker should be attached to that, unscrew the speaker put in new on and then rescrew the baffle back to the rear deck, shouldnt have to remove rear deck or back seats. not too sure about that but i know alot of cars are like that. good luck

yes look in the trunk first if you have not already. There is however a good chance that you will need to pull the back seat. If that is the case look for bolts along the front edge of the seat. There may or may not be any. If you do not see any, then push the front edge of the seat toward the back of the car, then push up. It should pop out fairly easily. The rear part is normally held in with the bolts that hold the seatbelts.
