Well I've been saving my money up for the last few months and I'm wanting to buy some rims for my '99 Mercury Grand Marquis LS, but unfortunately I have no idea about rims. I was wondering if you guys might be able to help me out. Mainly what brands are good, how to find out what size tires I need, what is a good place to look for rims, and what kind I could get for $800-1200 w/tires? If you got any suggestions of what you think would look nice on my car that would be great too.

am sure you can get a nice set of rims and rap them in a nice set of low profile rubbers, ya know just dont expect spinners or anything, i wish i had 1200 to put towards my rims lol, find sumtin ya like and maybe it will be more than ya have but you can always keep savin, its comming winter anyways, dont wanna ruin your nice new rims. take a look around on some websites, i know ebay always has sets of rims on there, dunno how good they are, dont really know much bout brands or anything in rims, but im sure there are other ppl in here that can hook ya up, good luck

Go get those spinners that u can get on ebay for like $89, u kno those ones that just snap on over ur rims now. lol jk

Well I've been checkin Low Rider, and I don't really know what to look for. I see some kewl rims, but I don't know if they will work with my car. Also is Limited a good brand because most of them seem to be in my price range?

Wish you would have brought this up about 2 weeks ago. I just sold a set of Borbet 17s with Yokohama 40 series on them. I had them on my 92 Grand Marquis, and they looked incredible.
I don't know if you've looked or not, but if you go to http://www.discounttire.com, they have a program which'll show you what wheels they have available would look like on your ride. I think you'll have to pick the Ford Crown Vic, as last I was there they didn't have the Marquis in their system, but since it's the same car, it didn't matter.
I do know that your car came from the factory with either 225/60/16, or 235/60/16 tires. You can fit up to 22s on it, and in order to keep your speedometer, odometer, and computer working properly, you'd want to go with tires that are one of:
225/55/17
235/50/17
235/50/18
245/45/18
245/35/20
Make sure you look for something that is 5x114.3 bolt pattern

Well I was kinda wanting to go with a tire and rim package. What is your thoughts on that? Also what are your thoughts on the Limited brand of rims as these seem to be pretty affordable. At least now I know what kind of tires I need, so thanks for all your help so far man.
