I have a 93 Ford Festiva. i have a Kenwood 300 watt amp and to Jl Audio 10 " W0's. whats the best way to face the box? i have it facing the back but i didnt know if facing it up at the roof or towards the front have a difference on sound and bass??? any ideas let me know

try whichever position you want and just listen to see what you like best. adjust you amp for each position and you can find the perfect way to face it. its just basically how well you want it to sound. probably facing it towards the back of the car will get more bass throughout the car. good luck

I have a friend that had an older festiva, that is a really nice car for a system, he won a lot of competitions with it. but yeah, the best position is usually facing towards the back of the car bacause it lets the wave mature fully, but in a hatch like a festiva, it isnt going to make a whole lot of difference. Just try different things yourself. Its all about personal preference.

thanks... i think i will just keep them facing the back for now... my box is pretty big to be messing around with unless i know a different placement is going to work... it sounds good right now... yeah it is a good car for a system.. thanks fellas...
Xplicitblitzboi... what did your friend have in his car for a system? and what did he do to keep everything for raddling all the time?? maybe give me some ideas

go to www.wickedcases.com thats his site, it has his cars on there. to keep it from rattling he used sound dampener (dynamat, fatmat etc.)
