legacy LCD??

what's the deal w\ legacy lcd screens? crap, or worth it? has anyone had experience w\ them?

also, what about boss? i can't justify spending more than a couple hundred on a screen b\c i'm only 17. that's why i'm asking about these brands.

well, i've not had any personal experience with the legacy or boss LCD screens, but i would still not reccomend them, the build quality is most likely pretty bad, and it might not last as long as you would like it to. just gotta watch out with these cheap products, i'd reccomend saving up the extra hundred to get some quality equipment, but if youre not motivated theres nothin i can do.

Both brands mentioned, are lower end of the scale in car audio gear. However, they may not make their own displays either. Try contacting Tech service for both vendors and see if someone else is making these for them. Ask for engineering people, not customer service or even sales... they might not know the right answers.

If you get a major brand name vendor (Alpine, Panasonic, JVC, Pioneer, Kenwood and the like, who is making these for Boss & Legacy, might be worth considering.
