im new at car audio, and need some help getting it down packed im confused with the speaker frequency responce rate?
i know that a sub is used for freq. say 80hz or below or something mid range is for mid range and the tweeters are for high pitches like 15000hz
i was just wondering if some one would clear this up for me, give me the highs and lows that should be used for a sub, mid range and tweeters.

Easy enough....

Sub: 30-80 Hz is common in car audio

Mids: 80-3,000 Hz is good for most interior speakers

Tweets: Depends on the tweeters, but 1,500-20,000 is not unusual

TIPS:

You'll want to put your best full range speakers in the front. Need to know what is stock there now. (size wise) Components are the best sounding and either door mounted or kick panels are best. Dash mounted speakers are not all that hot a location for best sound quality. (SQ) Can use coaxials in front, but if you do, get the style that has tweets you can aim on a gimble/swivel mount.

Rear channel speakers can be either full range (Coaxials/triaxials) and usually mounted in rear deck or rear door panels. You can go with Midbass speakers only and no tweeters if you wish. These are best designed when you have ~60-300 Hz.

Finally, know that smaller cones (3.5", 4" & 5x7" drivers cannot deliver much low end and have very limited power ratings. Here, you may need high pass filters to block lows to smaller speakers. The
sub(s) will do the rest on low end signals.

Do you know what size stock speakers are in your vehicle now and where are they located?

Can you give more details on what you wish to do here and a budget estimate for same? Then we can steer you into some products that meet your budget and sound needs.
