Replies (2) Swez on 10/29/2003 11:24:44 There are many test CD's out there that you can use to dial in your system. You can use your computer or just a CD player. These test CD's have all linds of useful tools and audio clips to test and tweak your system. The keysto quality sound are good speakers, ample power to each, signal processing such as EQ is always a plus and a good set of ears. Most folks don't have access to RTA's (Real Time Analyzers) but an inexpesive SPL meter (30-20,000 Hz) will do... or whatever sounds best to your ears. I do know there are RTA programs you can run off your computer (Laptop) but need a calibrated mike and software for your computer. How much these cost ??? Not sure... A regular rack mounted RTA can cost several thousand dollars... not for the average car buff. Supposedly you can dial in a specific frequency and wave type. Pinch Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
