Hey! Just signed up the site is pretty cool, I found it on www.google.com searching for information about subwoofers. I like the layout. Okay, I will admit I cried over this.. I know a little baby I am but when your dealing with Eclipse SW9122 12' inch subs, its worth crying over when something goes wrong! Specs are: Polyether Surround Titanium Cone Dual Mirror-Image Spiders Aluminum Voice Coil Former "Bottomless" Design Aero-Vented Pole Piece Cast Aluminum Frame Triple-Stacked Magnet Small Sealed-Box Enclosure Continuous Power Handling: 750W Music Power Handling: 1,500W Dual Voice Coil QCA (Quick Change Assembly) SW9122 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fs: 27Hz -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Qts: 0.30 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DCR: 4/coil -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vas: 3.20 cuft -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Xmax: (one way) 1.50 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- www.eclipse-web.com We had two Eclipse's in a Bandpass box, I hooked it up in my friends in 1972 chevy hot rod and he decided that going around a cornor really fast would be "fun". Apparently when he went around the cornor the bandpass box SMASHED into the side of the trunk and BROKE one of the bolts holding the maginet togather. I have thought about taking the liberty of fixing it. Taking it apart and cutting around the "rigied paper" (there is a name but im not aware of it) replacing the bolt that goes through the middle and resealing that "rigided paper back up" but im afraid it will never be the same and right now it sounds horrible.
