Ok so i know this isn't exactly car audio but it is in the same type of category. I am puting an alarm system on my car and found this one to be a great deal. It has all the stuff i want but i want someone elses opinion on if it is worth buying or not. Here is a link to one that was on ebay

I dont know a whole lot about alarms, crime stopper is okay, i dont know if i would trust them. go with viper, clarion (ungo), clifford, or cobra, those will all be choices that you are not dissapointed in. if you want a nice alarm its gonna cost ya, just remember, u get what u pay for.

i owned a crimestopper, it was the first alarm that I had ever installed.. never had any problems with it to tell the trueth, I don't have anything bad to say about them. My only question is, who is going to install it? I would not recommend trying it yourself unless you have someone with experience to answer questions, and you may not need your car for a few days... Alarms are not for the faint of heart, and are the only part of car audio that I would say, "have a pro do it".

Alot of shops do not like to install alarms that they do not sell, and charge dearly if you really want it done..

yeah, im not saying anything bad about them, im just saying, this is another example of "you get what you pay for" so if you are going to be paying a fortune for installation, you might as well buy a nicer alarm, if thats the alarm u really want to get, go for it, but i still would stick with clarion (ungo), viper, clifford, or cobra :)
