I have a Delco stereo system, the stereo model# is:16127076, ut came out of a 1991 cadilac sedan seville. I would like to install it into my boat, but I am not sure were all the wires go. Does anybody have a wiring diagram, or can anybody tell me where they go. I have a chiltons motors manual for the cadilac but the wires do not mach the wires on the stereo. Thanks

Take a close look on the back side of the HU (maybe top panel) and see if there is a listing of each wire color and what function it has in the harness pin outs.

I have a 90 Olds Trofeo' which has many of the same electronics of your Seville. When I removed my OEM HU, it had all the wire codes and pin outs stamped on the outer casing. Have a close look.

The Chilton's and general manuals may not cover much on your vehicle wiring. Some generic wiring schematics yes, but full details... NOPE.

The repair manual you can buy from Hayes.... (same one the GM shop guys use) can be purchased and has far more details on every aspect of your vehicle. There should be an order form in the back of the owners manual if you want to order one. They are not cheap, but can save you tons of money if you are able to do your own repairs. Mine cost $100.00, but has saved me 10 times that in diagnostics and repair costs.

A real help if your car has electronic self-diagnostics package and how to test so many sensors and such via ECM/BCM & SIR. You may have that package and not know how to access it w/o this manual and what the diagnostic codes mean.

you can buy a reverse harness from BB anc CC for $10-15 that would be color coded. Otherwise, what wires are you missing? Yellow, orange, green and lt green, brown and tan, yellow and blue.... I have the color code, they have used the same colors since the 70's. The hrns would be cleaner install however.
