Getting rid of rattles

I really need to get some sound deadening materials in my truck to stop the rattling. Anyone out there with a Chevy single cab Silverado (or any vehicle really) who can give me some recommendations on what tends to rattle the most? I found the biggest ones but the little rattlers are harder to spot. License plate frame and mirrors i already know about; any others?

Thanks

Jon

A little tip... use a short length of garden hose or similar as a listening tube. One end close to you ear and the other as probe for small rattles. Once you find them, then you can decide what methods mentioned earlier work best to quiet them down.

Wow, I never would've thought of that. I'll give it a shot. Thanks man!

Old mechanics trick... helps isolate small noises in a large noise environment.

Good luck,
