A. My amp troubles:
I sent my amp in on 9/22/03, and today i emailed bsless.com's customer service area, just to get an update. They said they had received my amp and had ordered the replacement (YAY), and were expecting "to see the amp sometime soon." This is cool, because i'll be getting a brand new amp, and not a repaired one! (YAY).
B. What is the best sub that money can buy?
ie, VERY loud, and still maintains clarity. i'm just curious here, so money is not an object.

JL W7s are some of the best subs out there, XXX, Brahma, Inhumans, there are alot

i hear of a lot of people getting those. i mean, what are those ones that people use in MAJOR audio competitions? like those ones that can handle 3 and 4 thousand watts rms?

Brahma is definitely a big hitter for high SPL as are E-designs, Earthquake, Orion, Audiobahn and many others.
You may wish to check out a few SPL geared sites and see what these folks are doing in terms of amps, subs and power management issues.
Anyone got any links to web sites that cater to SPL Comps?
