There is a good/bad amp list at: ecoustics.com (Thread: Good/Bad Amp List. I am not so sure about the list, though it has a lot of brands on it. for 2 Ohms X 1: mono block class D, of course. Cadence ZRS-6500D $499.00 Bazooka MGA11500H $499.95 Rockford Fosgate T20001bd $859.00 There are plenty more, this is just a sample. I like the RF, but lots of money.....Good Luck marlon fmarlon on 09/12/2009 15:11:34 Hi, if you don't have the time to seek what you want, let me know and I can do some more intense research and come up with some viable options for you..I have time to do this kind of stuff, usually every day.. marlon 07chargedup on 09/30/2009 19:28:03 again ck thanks and yes marlon help is needed and greatly appericaied misspelled lol the project has changed to one t1 or boston g5 not sure if anyone can help thanks swez on 09/30/2009 21:30:21 Here are the specs on the Boston G5 sub line. They give recommended sealed and ported dimensions and this sub has both 4+4 DVC or SVC, 4-ohm versions. The SPL efficiency is remarkably good at 2.83 volts. http://mobile.bostonacoustics.com/Manuals/G5_GTR_Man.pdf The 4+4 paired with a solid 500 watts RMS Class D amp should give great results. If you plan to use dual subs, then get the 4 ohm SVC's and a 1000 watt Class D amp that is stable at 2 ohms. (Most Class D's are 2 ohm stable and easy to match most any good brand amp to these subs. The ported version is prefered for more deep bass in a vehicle. Just be sure the amp you choose has a subsonic/infrasonic filter if you go ported. (25-30 Hz., SSF is good) Swez Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
