i have a basic setup of two 51/2, two 6x9 and one 200 watt alpine amp well...all of its alpine. i brought a new cd deck and it was working for about a week and now its consistently clipping out when i turn it up. the guy at the beat shop told me that the deck dosent read burnt cds to well and said that was why but why i listen to the radio and regular cds it still clips out and its starting to get worse...is there anyone who has had this problem and knows had to solve it? What is the make and model of your CD player? The other thought here, these speakers are fine for moderate listening levels, but if you hope for more bass from the 6x9's in the rear and clean mid/highs from the front speakers, they may need fitering and/or better yet, outboard amplication and a sub to get the most from what you have now. Say more about this install and your desired goals, so we can guide you to the next level up in performance. Swez ttocs on 08/31/2009 22:31:57 how high do you have the gain set on the amp? What are the bass and treble and loudness functions like? Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
