i replaced a fuse and still no power

What is the make model of your vehicle and the new HU installed? Knowing that, we may be able to sort things out for you.
Did you buy an adapter harness for the factory wiring to aftermarket stereo unit?

was the fuse bad? Most radios use at least two fuses in the fusebox(one for constant power, one for switched) that both need to be good for it to work. If it is an aftermarket radio then there are additional fuses behind it.
