speed sensor

i have a pioneer avic d2 in my 05 mustang i am trying to find some help hooking up the vehicle speed sensor wire to the speed sensor in the car and i cannot find it any ideas thanks

Sounds like you need a mechanic's input for this one. In most newer cars, the speed sensor is a magnetic counter sensor that reads pulses off the transmission, sends data to the computer and then outputs data to the dash console speedo.

In Nav equipped systems, speed is determined by trangulation of 3 Sat Net systems that monitor and transmit moving speed and direction independently from the vehicle's sensors.

What are you trying to accomplish here?
