I have a 12 inch sub with box and on the sub itself has 4 hook up 2 positives and two negatives i hooked up two and hooked it up to my amp and its not moving at all is there a speacial way to hook these up ???? Please help.

Sure is... this is a Dual Voice Coil sub. The L5 & L7 series comes in 2 versions:
A. 2+2 ohm DVC
B. 4+4 ohm DVC
We need to know the amp make & model used and which sub type you have before directing your wiring technique. You may have to remove the sub and look on the magnet for the version you have.

I have the 2 ohm speaker L5 12 inch and the amp for now is going to be a thump 450 watts model is TA-2001 i appreciate your help thanks

With this amp, you can bridge the outputs to form a single channel for sub use. The manual will show you how. As for the sub, you'll wire both coils in series as shown in this diagram: Option #2 (4 ohms total)

Set the Low Pass Filter between 80-100 Hz.
