man to tell you the truth i know not the first thing about my system i just **** with the eq's bassically crancked the knob on my amp so that it produces the most bass... man i would have never known it was my amp this whole time cutting off the bass i thought it had something to do with the wiring being that i had my brother install it in my front yard lol.... any way thanks for the use full information i am now that much smarter on my system especially the brand of my woofer i had thought this whole time that its second hand or something then again it doesnt help that i bought all my equipment out the back of my homies jeep hahah...

There's a lot to learn in this hobby and oddy, they pay audio and design engineers big $$$ to design a factory system that is just so-so.
Just back down a tad on your bass boost and amp gain settings for the sub amp and things should be good and reliable. When the amp stop shutting down at high power, you have it right.

Yup, like swez said, there is a ton to learn about audio, I knew a fair amount before here, but now i have enough knowledge to be a professional
