Did you recently replace the stock radio with an aftermarket model? (whick make & model #?) 2. Are there any external amplifiers used to drive the speakers for more power than normal radios can produce. (12-22 watts per channel) If you did replace the factory radio with an aftermarket model, most noise comes from poorly grounding the aftermarket radios ground lead. (Do Not use the factory harness ground) They usually cause a "ground loop" and there is where the noise comes from. Read the latter have of this page link for details: http://www.bcae1.com/audiots.htm (Engine Noise section) In a nutshell, the factory harness is not always the best grounding site choice. Here, a "dedicated ground" to bare metal in the dash, floor pan or fire wall is a better plan and the noise problem usually goes away. Got all that?
