Hi, i have a 2002 buick lesabre, how do i hook up my amp to the factory radio. only including the remote wire and rca. Replies (1) swez on 03/27/2009 22:42:26 Welcome to CK! (Take #2) The easiest way to add subs and an outboard amp is to tap off the rear speakers for audio signals. Many amps have both Speaker Level and Line Level (RCA) inputs to feed your amp and subs. This makes it easy to install a simple sub system to most vehicles w/o Premium Sound systems that don't use factory amps. (Ex: GM Bose) From there, all you need is a power cable from the battery to the amp and some amps often use an internal trigger to turn the amp on when it senses audio signals from your Factory Radio. (No remote line trigger needed) Do you have brand names and model #'s for the amp and sub(s) you wish to use? Comments/Questions? Swez Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
