Say more about your system so we have a better idea what you are working with. (Make and model # of HU, Amps if used, tweets, other speakers paired to the tweeters)

OK, the tweeters have a recommended crossover frequency and to get there, we need to know what that uable frequency range is. From there, we add a small filtering capacitor of a given value to block the lows and mids that would damage the tweeter.

Do you know the ohmic rating of these tweeters? That is ususally stamped on the magnet or on the packaging info when you buy them. Hopefully, they are 4 ohm tweets. Once we know the ohmic value of the tweets, I'll give you the proper capacitor details. (Many tweeter kits come with the filter capacitor needed. (Did yours?)

When you wire them up, just tap them to the present door speakers in parallel. (+ Tweet to cap to + on door speaker; -Tweet to - on door speaker)

Lastly, before you install them permanently, try several locations and figure out where they sound best. Most guys aim them toward the rearview mirror or just above the headliner/windshield initially and tweak as needed. (We try to avoid aiming at driver/passenger head levels) That makes them too bright and not pleasing to the ear.

Comments?

use a 4.7 uf non-polar capacitor inline with the tweeter ( either on +ve or -ve lead , since its non-polar, wont make a difference )

Victor...
