I HAVE A KENWOOD KDC-600 10 DISC CHANGER. I NEED A DIN CABLE FOR IT TO CONNECT TO HU. THE HU TAKES THE SAME CONNECTOR

I take it this is one of the older changers from Kenwood and you cannot locate the control cable? It may be so out of date that it may not work on your Kenwood KDC-BT742U HU.
You may have to contact Kenwood Tech Service to determine if this cable is available and compatible with your new HU.
The I-Pod Aux feature is way better if you have one and no need to burn CD's either. Just rip CD's into Windows Media Player files and then download your music choices to the I-Pod. A simple cable is all that is needed to connect.

Swez...after thinking about it, I think I will upgrade to the new units. They have so many new features.
