Have fun with this one Gold members :) I would simply say take it to a professional installer, or have someone who knows what they are doing come walk you through it... Walking you through this much install will be a challenge, but the guys here are pretty good.... Sonde_25 on 02/6/2009 22:03:03 I dont have budget for pro installer.. Anybody can help me here i know. I can follow simple instruction please help.. swez on 02/6/2009 22:06:46 Indeed, explaining all the details would be a big task to any newbie. Do you have hyperlinks to the HU, amps, crossovers and subs? If yes, we can try to break things down in smaller bites and fill in the blanks as needed. The HU mentioned looks more like an older Pioneer product??? KEH-P6450? (Yes?) What vehicle are you working with here? Swez PS If you provide the links, (google searches) we'll figure out a way to get you past 1st base and then some. Sonde_25 on 02/6/2009 22:34:54 I dont have hyperlink. Whats funny about my car is! Its only assemble with different model and different brand so no problem where to make whole for the wire.. My concern is connection of hu,crossover, and the 2 amp. With regard to the power suppy and also my speaker with regard to the 2 amp. Thanks for helping zanilth on 02/7/2009 00:00:18 If your car is assembled from various models and such, what type of vehicle was it originally? As in what wires would be running through it. Different vehicles call for different things to be done in order to install things. You can't expect to be able to install a radio and such in a Honda Civic in the same way you would have to install it in a Ferrarri. Sonde_25 on 02/7/2009 00:20:04 The body is made by a contractor, the engine is fro L300 and 3sm battery thats all i can say.. Here we call i passenjer jeep. Where do i connect the B+ and also the remote swez on 02/7/2009 10:52:28 Where are you from Sonde? (Ausi?) Let's start from the radio install and progress from there. This is either an older model or build for non-USA markets. Do you have the installer/user manual for this radio? (Please say yes) In basic terms, these are the common color codes for Pioneer players: Red is ACC/IGN (Power only when key in ACC or start/run modes) Yellow is BAT or Constant power for Memory presets Black is ground The four speakers are paired in like colors: Gray & Gray w/ black stripe are right front (The black is Neg) White & White w/ black stripe are left front Green & Green w/ black stripe are left rear Violet & Violet w/ black stripe are right rear Orange is Illumination (not used) Does this radio, (Head Unit, HU) have RCA jacks in back for outboard amplifiers? How many and how are they marked? I'll stop here for now and let us know the answers to the question asked OK? Swez zanilth on 02/7/2009 15:53:10 Did your car have a factory radio in it already? If not, is there a space to mount a radio at? Also, is there a plug for a CD player? If not, then you will have to completely run new wires to hook up the CD player, and most likely speakers as well.... So, before any further, please ensure you have a place to mount the CD player, and the speakers (door speakers and tweeters...subs will be in a box) Let us know about that. Sonde_25 on 02/8/2009 01:16:56 Im from philippines, i dont have manual for hu.. All my stuff second hand.. Yes it has rca jack, it label output L and R, by the way where do i connect the remote wire of the hu. And i found remote terminal also in my crossover and also in my two amplier.. Are they all connected to each other.. Sorry for the delay of response.. @zanilth theres no factory radio but theres a slot for radio dashboard comes from honda civic. My speaker are all in a box and on the top of the box is where i put 2 amp and a cross over.. My problem now is how to connect them to each other and how to connect to battery to power them up, i dont want to burn up my stuff and speacially my auv swez on 02/8/2009 04:27:44 Hello Sonde, Zan and I have been looking at your project and have agreed to work with you as a team. We believe that you drive a mix and match vehicle made up of spare parts from several vehicles. Is that an accurate guess? Also, since most of the equipment you have is used, older and made for non-US markets, information on details will be hard to find and we'll have to work closely with you to get the information you do know. Have you figured out a physical location to mount the HU? (Pioneer KEH-P6450) The Disc changer often mounts under the seat or a large slot in the dash if you have one. However, we are not sure if these two items are compatible. If your HU has that added feature, it will have a cable port in the back of the HU to connect that cable for power and audio signals. Do you have that cable and HU has that port feature? Also, as we learn more about your collection of audio gear and level of understanding on the wiring issues ahead, we'll give details as best we can to help you fit things together. This will be a slow process in the beginning, but if we all stick to a plan, it should work out. Finally, do you or friends have access to a digital camera? If yes, we'll ask for pictures that can be posted to free users sites, look at your pictures and try to figure out the best way to guide you. Finally, your Pioneer amps appear to be 4 channel amps. Is that correct? Swez PS That TekLine TK8325CH product mentioned earlier... what is it? Sonde_25 on 02/8/2009 07:45:13 All your guess are correct my cd changer is also pioneer brand i think this two are compatible, by the way thanks for the effort.. Tekline is also an amplifier, no problem for the slot i have in the dash. Okay for the visual ill try to picture all the stuff.. From the battery (+) should i connect all b+ of my stuff?. The term harness the port that has 15 wire thanks for the colored code.. Now i understand.. What harness is.. zanilth on 02/8/2009 09:39:56 Alright, so you have a place to mount the deck. Can you connect the cd changer directly to the head unit with a cable? If so, do you know that it works correctly? Secondly, in the slot where the radio will mount, is there a plug laying around there? It will look kind of like the blue plug in the picture here, but it won't be hooked to anything on one side...: http://www.jaygaulard.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/car-stereo-wiring-harness.jpg admin on 02/8/2009 09:49:59 To make your links work zanilth, just make sure there is a space at the end of them and Welcome to CK.
