Replies (2) Swez on 09/13/2003 18:31:35 Wonder what he meant by "cannot fit that into your car"? Is there a physical limitation in the dash area to prevent this or anouther matter entirely? I have heard that FM/AM bands are different in the UK than USA or other EU countries. If that is true, a tuner set up for US frequencies may not work in your country. However, I am sure there are brands that do make tuners etc., that are specifically made for UK bands. Have worked with a few others from the UK and we had a similar discussion before he made his purchase. He did not tell me what he ended up doing on the matter... or I don't recall the details well enough to give you the needed feedback. With a little luck, he may read this and join the topic. Swez ttocs on 09/14/2003 12:27:21 it will fit, but may not work. Europe uses a different type of electron that does not speak english... But seriously, the tuner is the only section that is different. Some decks are made so that you can toggle between us and europe standards. We can get you that deck if you want it, but I am not sure how much shipping would be... Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
