i am having a problem finding a place to run my 4 g wire in my 2000 cadillac sts and hints or just tell me where to run it thru

This may be a bit tricky as there is not much open space at the firewall on the drivers side of the engine compartment.
If you can get a good look at the firewall, look for a large rubber plug in the firewall that can be drilled out to fit your wiring through. If you have none visable, you'll have to find a safe place to drill through the firewall with a long shank drill. (Double panel firewall is likely)
If it were me, I'd probably pay a Pro Installer that knows this car well to make the hole, install the wire and grommets through the firewall, as needed and you can finish the rest of the wiring job. ( $10-15.00 is worth not making a big, costly mistake)
The other option is have a buddy handy and drill a 1/4" pilot hole w/ a long shank bit. If either sees a flashlight beam when done, you have likely found a good spot. BE CAREFUL not to hit the internal fuse block or other mechanical parts on either side of the firewall.

follow the other wiring. you may be able to fit the wire through if you slightly gnaw off a little of the edges of the rubber gromit and get the wire through.
