cuttin corners

I recently posted issuses with a cd/dvd player i baught for my 96 civic..
Freeway 2685 dvd/cd etc...
this comes with its own fuse box and noise reductor attached to the 12v+ ignition and ground... am i able to remove this box and run it like any other cd player or should i just deal with the fuses..???

Wise to keep the fuse and noise collar if you can. One option is if you need to hide it better, crimp on some extension leads for a better fit.

yea i decided to go pick up some fuses tonite...
although it was hard to find the size.. i found the amperage but all the other fuses were just a tad larger in size so i got them anyways... tomorrow morning im gonna put them in and let ya know how it turned out!
THis is the best websitee i have ever been on! ALL my questions get very good answers with no negative feedback upon some of the choices i would make with out ur guidence

Well, we don't thing negative/bashing comments help most folks. We prefer catching guys before they buy, to avoid things they cannot see later.

If your fuses don't fit properly, there are other inline fuse holders that will. Yes, that's another trip for parts, but you know the job is done right. There are tricks to modify fuse splices. It just depends on what's available and how to work around them for sucess.
